Suryakumar Yadav and wife invest in luxury Dubai property named after Shah Rukh Khan

Suryakumar Yadav has invested in a luxury property in Dubai, opting for Shahrukhz Residences by Danube, a waterfront development named after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Suryakumar announced the purchase on Instagram, expressing excitement about becoming part of the residential project in Dubai Maritime City. While the price of his property has not been disclosed, the original Shahrukhz commercial tower was valued at Dh 2.1 billion.

Kumar’s investment comes as celebrity tie-ups have become a key branding and demand-creation tool as the emirate braces for a large pipeline of residential completions. Earlier this year, several prominent developers have signed on leading Hindi film actors as brand ambassadors, blending aspirational lifestyles with property sales. DAMAC Properties, one of Dubai’s largest private developers, has tied up with actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to front its luxury residential portfolio, particularly projects aimed at international buyers. The association is designed to strengthen DAMAC’s visibility in India, a critical source market for Dubai real estate, and to position its developments as lifestyle-driven global assets rather than pure property investments.
