The stock of Indian Hotels Company has been in a consolidation phase for about four months. It has been oscillating between ₹700 and ₹755.
Last week, the scrip rallied about 8 per cent and broke out of the resistance at ₹755. This has turned the outlook bullish. The ongoing upswing is likely to lift the stock to ₹810 after which there could be a correction, possibly to ₹780.
But then, we expect it to regain momentum and eventually appreciate to ₹900 in the near-term.
So, traders can buy the stock now at ₹772 and accumulate at ₹740. Place stop-loss at ₹690. When the price rises to ₹830, revise the stop-loss ₹790. When the stock touches ₹875, alter the stop-loss to ₹850. Book profits at ₹900.
