Incumbent Rep. Michael Guest is facing two challengers in Mississippi’s Third Congressional District, which slices across the southeast part of the state.

Democratic candidate Michael Chiaradio, a farmer and entrepreneur, and Libertarian Erik Kiehle are running against Guest for the first time.

Guest has held the office since 2018, handily winning reelection in every cycle since then.

Michael Guest

Guest is a conservative Republican who has aligned himself closely with President Donald Trump’s agenda since his first bid for office. He emphasized his “America-first approach” on his congressional website, promoting what he described as “traditional Mississippi values” such as fewer government regulations and support for the Second Amendment.
