
KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday).
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.86, while the selling rate stands at Rs 154.46.
The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 176.40 and the selling rate at Rs 177.09. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 207.80 and sold at Rs 208.61, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 190.57 and sold at Rs 191.32.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.69 and the selling rate at Rs 108.11. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 109.58 and sold at Rs 110.00, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 119.37 and sold at Rs 119.83.
The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen have been fixed at Rs 9.49 and Rs 9.52, respectively. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.74 and sold at Rs 22.82. Likewise, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 40.97 and sold at Rs 41.13, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 42.21 and sold at Rs 42.37.
According to NRB, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.58 and sold at Rs 4.60. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.89 and sold at Rs 42.06, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.78 and sold at Rs 37.93. The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won have been fixed at Rs 10.40 and Rs 10.45, respectively.
One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.07 and sold at Rs 16.13, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.60 and sold at Rs 23.69.
The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.63 and the selling rate at Rs 19.70. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 500.36 and sold at Rs 502.31, while one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 408.09 and sold at Rs 409.68. One Omani rial is being bought at Rs 399.62 and sold at Rs 401.17.
Meanwhile, the buying and selling rates for Indian currency have been fixed at Rs 160.00 per 100 Indian rupees.
NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
