Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:Today is the weekly expiry of all BSE contracts. The recent phase for the market has been a good one, with the Nifty having recovered 1,000 points from last week’s low of 23,070. A close above 24,000 is also a positive.

However, two things may put a dampener to this upmove. One is the sell-off in the US markets after the Federal Reserve hinted at rate hikes by the year-end and the consequent jump in bond yields and the US Dollar. A stronger dollar is negative not just for gold but also for metals, which have underperformed through the week.
For the Nifty, the bulls would hope that 24,000 – 23,900 zone is protected on the downside, while the next hurdles emerge at 24,150 and 24,250, which also happens to be the 100-Day Moving Average.
The Nifty Bank remains in the 57,000 – 58,000 trading range. Keep an eye on BSE after the NSE DRHP filing, along with stocks like Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Anthem Biosciences, Bosch Home Comfort among others. Watch this space for all the LIVE stock market updates.
