Stock Market Live Updates: The market is in the second half of the last day of this week’s trade, and the indices are holding up the gains. The markets look all set and determined to close the week on high, as the Nifty index rises over 100 points, surging over 23,750. The Nifty Bank is in form, jumping over 500 points, rising towards 53,900. SBI Life, Eicher Motors and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers.
Stock Market Live Updates: It’s slightly gloomy outside as Dalal Street moves into the second half of the day’s trade, but the markets are as bright as they were at the beginning of the day. The bulls are making a case for glory, as the Nifty looks to end the week in green. The Nifty index is up nearly 100 points, rising to 23,750. The Sensex index is up over 300 points, rising to 75,500.
The Nifty has been tested both at the lower end and the upper end of the 23,300 – 23,800 range; it finds itself locked in.
Oil prices are down this morning; yields are elevated but have eased slightly as well.
The Nifty Bank looks stronger today, with a near 1% or 500 points jump, rising towards teh 54,000 mark.
Earnings reactions come from ITC, LIC, LG Electronics India, Nykaa, Honasa Consumer, and others.
The last trading day of the week also sees results from Sun Pharma, Hindalco, Torrent Pharma, Colgate-Palmolive, Eicher Motors and others.
