Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are looking to undo the previous week’s damage and are moving on a strong footing. The Nifty is up over 160 points, aiming for 24,000. The Nifty Bank is surging over 550 points, rising towards 57,800. IndiGo, Asian Paints and Infosys are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are moving on a strong footing as they look to turn the losses incurred in the previous week. The Nifty is up over 160 points, rising above 23,930. The Sensex is up over 550 points, jumping to 76,650.
Crude oil prices are down over 5%, although still above $90 a barrel. All through last week, the Nifty bulls found a way to protect 23,800 on the downside, a level they will look to reclaim right on market open this morning, followed by the 24,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also on the rise, jumping over 550 points. For the Nifty Bank, 57,000 and 57,500 will be the levels to watch on the upside.
Nearly 200 companies in India, including at least 10 Nifty 50 names report numbers this week, as do the Big Tech companies in the US.
Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, IDFC First Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, BEL are some names to keep an eye on today.
