Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of this session, and the markets are trading cautiously with a negative bias. The Nifty is below the 24,100 mark with a dip of around 50 points. Nifty Bank is under pressure and largely red, down about 250 points. Dr Reddys, Shriram FIn and Trent are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the bulls are hoping to hold the 24,000 mark as the index trades relatively muted with a negative bias. The markets are walking on a tightrope, on a cautious note. The Nifty is slipping back and forth between red and green. The Nifty 50 index is looking to protect 24,000. The Sensex index is also in a similar terrain, down over 200 points.
The Nifty Bank is under pressure, with a negative bias, as the banking index trails with a dip of over 100 points, dropping to 58,000.
As for the Nifty 50, aven as the bulls are managing to hold 24,000, there is no conviction at higher levels. Last Thursday’s high of 24,261 will be key to watch, while lower levels of 24,000 – 23,800 remain the same.
The index to watch today, though, will be the Nifty Bank as both HDFC Bank and Kotak Bank will be in focus. The 57,500 – 58,500 range remains key for this index. Also keep an eye on stocks like REC, PFC, Vodafone Idea, Dr. Reddy’s, Persistent Systems, Waaree Energies and others.
