Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are under immense pressure, with the Nifty index falling over 150 points, slumping towards 24,000. The Nifty Bank is down over 500 points, slumping towards 57,300. IndiGo, Cipla and and SBI are the top laggards.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are under immense pressure in this midweek trading session. The resistance appears to have broken, and the Nifty is down nearly 200 points, falling towards the 24,000 mark. The Sensex is down 550 points, stumbling below 77,000.
Brent is now at a two-month high, and back above the mark of $90 a barrel.
The bulls continue to fight to hold the 24,200 mark, which will be the first key level, while 24,000 and 23,800 continue to remain the two important levels on the downside.
The Nifty Bank also traded in a narrow range on Tuesday and continues to remain locked between 57,500 on the downside and 58,500 on the upside. While crude oil sensitives will react to the rise in prices, earnings reactions will be key as another busy day awaits.
