Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are on a roll, with the indices surging. The Nifty index is up over 170 points. jumping towards 23,800. The Nifty Bank is up over 400 points, rising towards 59,000. Cipla, Trent and ONGC are among the top gainers.

For Nifty, the 23,500 mark will be the most important one to watch on the upside. Lower down, 23,250 emerged as a support, and the bulls would hope that it stays.
The Nifty Bank index is surging as well, with a jump of over 400 points, rising towards the 59,000 mark.
