Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of the trading session, and the market is looking to start the week on a strong footing. The Nifty is up over 100 points, rising above the 24,100 mark. The Nifty Bank is up over 140 points, aiming for the 57,900 mark. Cipla, Reliance Industries and Infosys are the big gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets appear to have found some momentum as the Nifty surges over 100 points, jumping to 24,100. The Sensex is also up over 400 points, rising to the 77,200 mark.
The Nifty bulls are fighting to hold on to the 24,000 mark, a level they managed to sustain as of Friday’s close due to the FTSE and Sensex rebalancing flows.
The Nifty Bank is trading on a slightly underwhelming note with a positive bias, aiming at the 57,900 mark. It continues to remain in the 57,000 – 58,000 range and also managed to defend the support level of 57,500 last Friday.
For the Nifty, the 24,000 remains the key level, followed by 23,800 on the downside, while on the upside, the 24,150 – 24,250 zone will be a key congestion point.
This will be a truncated week as Friday will be a market holiday. Keep an eye on stocks like Petronet LNG, Nestle India, Bharat Forge and others.
