Sensex Today | FIIs net sell shares worth Rs 2,346 crore, DIIs net buy Rs 4,977 crore on September 3
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs/FPIs) were net sellers in Indian equities on September 3, selling shares worth Rs 2,346 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) remained net buyers, investing Rs 4,977 crore, according to provisional exchange data.
During the session, DIIs bought shares worth Rs 17,064 crore and sold shares worth Rs 12,086 crore. FIIs, meanwhile, purchased shares worth Rs 13,596 crore, but sold shares amounting to Rs 15,942 crore.
For the year, FIIs have remained net sellers offloading Rs 3.4 lakh crore in shares, while DIIs have net bought shares worth Rs 5.6 lakh crore.
