Moderna MRNA, Datadog DDOG, Cadence Design Systems CDNS, Perrigo Company PRGO, and Qualcomm QCOM were the top performers among US-listed stocks covered by Morningstar analysts.

  • Moderna topped the list, rising 29.08%, and it’s up 222.44% over the past three months. This no-moat company with a 3-star rating has increased 652.78% over the past 12 months. The stock closed the week at $198.88, trading at a 20% premium to its fair value estimate of $163 per share.
  • Datadog was the second-best performer, with a weekly return of 16.61%. The 2-star stock has gained 15.39% over the last three months. Shares in this wide-moat company are up 88.12% over the past 12 months. Datadog stock wrapped up the week at $268.02, trading at a 28% premium to its fair value estimate of $200 per share.
  • Cadence Design Systems ranked third for the week, with its stock rising 15.29%. The 3-star, wide-moat stock has fallen 13.53% over the last three months and 9.79% over the past 12 months. Cadence Design Systems stock closed at $326.16, trading at an 8% discount to its fair value estimate of $350 per share.
  • The fourth-best-performing stock was no-moat Perrigo Company, which gained 13.5%. The 4-star stock has gained 53.38% over the last three months but is down 25.95% over the past 12 months.
