THIEVES have targeted property in the centre of an East Yorkshire town.
Humberside Police said it happened between 3.20pm and 3.30pm on Saturday, May 30 in Churchside, which runs alongside Howden Minster in the centre of the town.

A force spokesperson said: “The offenders have moved a metal fence and then climbed the rear stairs of the building and attempted the door handle of the property.

“If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26000074025.
“Alternatively, you could call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“You can also provide information anonymously on the Crimestoppers website.”
