Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Carl Ridgley to UK head of hospitality, expanding his role at the property adviser.

He will now lead the hospitality team alongside partner Andrew Horder, overseeing valuations and advisory, capital markets and operator selection functions.

Ridgley joined Cushman & Wakefield’s valuation team in 2016 after leaving the role of director and head of hotels at Lambert Smith Hampton.
The appointment comes as the UK hospitality sector continues to demonstrate strong momentum, with Cushman & Wakefield research showing UK hotel deal volumes rose to £2.7bn in the first half of this year, 20% above the five-year average.
