Emergency services descended on a Salford street this afternoon (August 11) after a fire broke out at a property nearby.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service descended on Watson Street in Eccles at around 3pm to tackle a blaze which had broken out in the back garden of a property.
Photos from the scene showed multiple fire units in attendance alongside what appeared to be unmarked police cars on Cromwell Road nearby.

In a statement, GMFRS confirmed that three fire engines had attended the scene to tackle a blaze in the back garden of a property.
A spokesperson for the service said: “Just before 3.30pm on Tuesday 11 August, three fire engines from Sale and Salford along with an enhanced rescue unit from Leigh attended a fire on Watson Street, Eccles.
“The fire involved a shed in the back garden of a property. Crews used specialist equipment to extinguish the fire and currently remain at the scene.”
