Kent detective Lola Deal, from Broadstairs, and property broker Aidan Murphy revealed as Series 13 Love Island contestants

Two Kent singletons are set to enter the Love Island villa this summer.
Detective Lola Deal, from Broadstairs, and property broker Aidan Murphy have been announced as part of this year’s line-up on ITV’s hit show.

Lola, 28, said she is “not too fussy” when it comes to finding a love match, but likes someone who is a “good cuddler” and “funny”, The Sun reported.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she is a recent criminology and forensics graduate from the University of Portsmouth and is looking for a role within the criminal justice sector.
The former Dane Court Grammar School pupil has also worked for Broadstairs-based Humble Abodes and window suppliers The Window Workshop in Ramsgate.
She will be entering the villa with fellow Kent resident Aidan Murphy, 23.
The property broker said personality is key when looking for a partner and is hoping to find someone who “can take a joke and does not take themselves too seriously”.

It is not yet clear where in Kent Aidan is from, but he has posted on social media visiting Bluewater Shopping Centre in Greenhithe and Casino Rooms in Rochester.
Love Island will be back on our screens on Monday (June 1) for Series 13, with presenter Maya Jama also returning.
The reality show will follow the Islanders as they couple up with other contestants and navigate bombshell arrivals and twists to test their connections.
