
An associate director for a leading property consultancy has been named as a finalist in this year’s Inspiring Women in Property Awards.
Kezia Smart (pictured), associate director for KWB property consultancy has been recognised in the national awards for her ongoing work advocating for equality, diversity and inclusion within commercial real estate.
The national awards are part of Property Week’s ‘Inspiring Diversity in Property’ campaign and look to celebrate trailblazing women who are making a real, positive impact in the UK property industry.
Sam Lawrence, managing director of KWB Property Management, said: “We are delighted that Kezia has received this much-deserved recognition at a national level. She really is an inspiring professional within the industry.”
Kezia has been involved with the Midlands Women in Property Committee for the past five years.
She also sits on the West Midlands RICS Regional Board and arranges networking events, alongside encouraging member engagement, with a particular focus to support female surveyors.
Sam added: “Through her involvement with Women in Property, and an active role on the RICS West Midlands board, she has created meaningful opportunities and networking events, championed underrepresented voices and helped foster a more accessible, supportive and representative property industry. Well done Kezia, we are all incredibly proud of you.”
The winners of this year’s Inspiring Women in Property Awards will be announced during a ceremony in London on 22nd September.
Kezia Smart said: “I’m honoured to be named as a finalist in this year’s awards, alongside some truly inspiring women, and male allies, in property.
“I’m incredibly passionate about supporting diversity and inclusion within the industry and ensuring that there are equal opportunities for all. It’s something that will always be central to my career.”
Within the KWB team, Kezia is responsible for overseeing the property management of a number of mixed-use properties across the Midlands.
