NPTN by LMS will host a live webinar on property market reform on 17th September.
The session will bring together representatives from the property industry to discuss reform initiatives, working groups and policy developments.
It will examine how organisations including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), the Open Property Data Association (OPDA), the Digital Property Market Steering Group and the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology are working towards a data-led property market.
The webinar will cover how these initiatives connect, where responsibilities sit and what lenders, conveyancers and estate agents should prioritise over the next six to 12 months.
The panel will include Travis Scholes, commercial director at LMS; Maria Harris, chair at the Open Property Data Association; Leon Ifayemi, director of coalitions and research at the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology; and Beth Rudolf, director of delivery at the Conveyancing Association.
Travis Scholes, commercial director at LMS, said: “There’s a lot of important progress happening across the industry, but from the outside, it can be hard to understand how all the moving parts fit together.
“We wanted to bring some of the key industry voices driving this discussion into one room, not to add another initiative to the pile, but to help the industry see the whole picture – who’s doing what, why it matters, and how stakeholders can take action now.
“The more we can connect these conversations across the industry, the better placed we’ll be to turn good ideas and individual initiatives into meaningful progress.”
The panel discussion will be followed by a live audience question-and-answer session.
The webinar, Property Market Reform: Making Sense of the Moving Parts, will take place from 2pm to 3pm.
