Luxury property development nearly sold out amid strong interest

A luxury property development is attracting strong interest from buyers.

The Shackleton and Moyana scheme, located on the River Hamble, offers contemporary coastal living in a prestigious waterfront setting.

Shackleton, a listed building and former home of the Warsash Maritime Academy, has now fully sold out.

Nikki Houston, associate director in the new homes team at Savills Winchester, said: “We’ve seen strong interest from buyers seeking a lifestyle-led move to Shackleton and Moyana, which represents a special opportunity to enjoy the very best of waterside living in Hamble.

“Buyers need to be quick to snap up the remaining four properties which vary in size from just over 1550 sq foot to almost 3000 sq ft.”

The neighbouring Moyana building, named after the academy’s first training vessel, is also proving popular, with 50 per cent of the homes sold and a further four properties currently under offer.

Prices for the remaining Moyana homes range from £600,000 to £995,000.
