Police cordon off property after armed officers swarm street

Police have cordoned off a property in Swindon after armed police swarmed the area.

Armed officers were called to a property in the Walcot area after receiving a report of multiple offences being committed on Thursday, April 30.

Residents told the Adver that they saw the door of a property being “rammed” during the armed response.

Police have not confirmed if anybody has been arrested at this stage.

Officers have set up a cordon at an address while an investigation continues, and there has remained a police presence in the area this afternoon.
