CapitaLand Investment recognised for sustainability excellence in 2026 GRESB Assessment

Mr Andrew Jasudasen, Chief Sustainability and Sustainable Investments Officer, said: “The strong GRESB performance underscores how sustainability is embedded in the way CLI invests, manages assets and creates value. As we continue to grow our listed and private funds platforms, we remain focused on delivering resilient long-term returns and safeguarding value for our LPs, investors and stakeholders through sustainable growth, operational excellence and disciplined capital management.”

Among CLI’s listed funds, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT), CapitaLand China Trust (CLCT) and CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) retained their 5-star ratings. CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) improved to a 5-star rating, while CLI, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (CLAR) and CapitaLand Malaysia Trust (CLMT) earned 4-star ratings.

In its private funds business, CapitaLand Ascott Residence Asia Fund II (CLARA II), CapitaLand Open End Real Estate Fund (COREF) and Extra Space Asia (ESA), a CLI-managed self-storage platform, earned 4-star ratings.

Several CLI-managed funds and platforms were also recognised for their sustainability performance. CICT, CLAS, CLCT, CLARA II and ESA ranked first in their respective Predefined Peer Groups.

Sustainability performance continues to support CLI’s financing strategy. As at end-June 2026, CLI and its listed funds had secured S$3.3 billion of sustainable financing, including S$2.9 billion from sustainability-linked loans pegged to GRESB performance metrics.

Continued Recognition Across Leading ESG Indices and Awards

Beyond GRESB, CLI and its listed funds continue to receive recognition across leading ESG indices, governance benchmarks and sustainability awards in 2026.

  • As at end-September 2026, CLI remained a constituent of the 2026 FTSE4Good Index, the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index and the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026.
  • CICT and CLAR remained constituents of the 2026 FTSE4Good Index and FTSE4Good Developed Index respectively.
  • CLMT remained a constituent in the 2026 FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index and was winner of the Real Estate Investment Trusts category at The Edge Malaysia ESG Awards 2026.
  • In the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI) 2026, CLI ranked 12th among 458 companies, rising two places from the previous year. In the REIT and Business Trust category, CLAS, CICT and CLAR ranked first, second and fourth respectively, among 41 entities.
  • CLI joined the United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore’s Built Environment Leadership Group as a founding member in 2026, reinforcing its commitment to advancing sustainable development and decarbonisation across the built environment sector.
