Entrepreneur urges modest earners to invest in real estate

The Chairman of Gold Reef Villa Ltd, Kenneth Ifekudu, has called on low- and middle-income earners to invest in real estate to strengthen their financial security and ensure a comfortable retirement.

Ifekudu said Nigerians should develop the habit of investing early in landed property and housing to build long-term financial security and reduce the burden of accommodation in their later years.

He made the call in Abuja while receiving complimentary copies of Attention Magazine, which featured him on its cover and honoured him with the Philanthropy Champion Award for his contributions to humanitarian causes and community development.

In a statement issued by his company on Friday, the real estate entrepreneur said Gold Reef Villa Ltd was creating opportunities for Nigerians to acquire quality property, including serviced land with essential infrastructure.

He urged prospective investors to take advantage of available opportunities, stressing that the company was committed to providing tangible assets and quality infrastructure.

“In Gold Reef Villa, we talk about quality. The moment you invest with us; the value of your money starts counting. We are not using investors’ money to acquire land. Those lands are available,” he said.

Ifekudu added that the company had the capacity to provide the infrastructure required for buyers to take possession of their properties.

“We have the capacity to put infrastructure in place, so that when you walk in, you take possession of your land. We don’t compromise quality because we are very particular about it,” he stated.

He said the company’s investment philosophy was built around the potential of real estate to preserve and grow wealth over time.

“We truly represent gold, as our name implies, because the value of gold cannot depreciate; it can only appreciate,” he added.

Ifekudu maintained that early investment in property could provide individuals and families with greater financial stability, particularly as they approach retirement.

He further thanked Attention Magazine for the honour, noting that the recognition would motivate him to expand his philanthropic efforts and sustain support for initiatives focused on improving the well-being of individuals and communities.
