National Law Firm to Relocate LA Office to Silverstein’s Iconic Downtown Office Tower
Silverstein Properties, a leading real estate investment, development and management firm, today announced a new 24,416-square-foot lease with Wilson Elser at US Bank Tower, its premier 72-story office tower in Downtown Los Angeles.
Founded in 1978, Wilson Elser is a preeminent defense litigation firm with more than 1,400 attorneys across the country. As part of a 10-year lease, Wilson Elser will occupy the entire 31st floor of the US Bank Tower. The firm will relocate from 555 South Flower Street at nearby City National Plaza in Q3 2026.
“We are pleased to welcome Wilson Elser to US Bank Tower, further strengthening the building’s position as a premier destination for top legal services firms,” said Silverstein Properties Vice President, Harlan Strader. “With its highly efficient floor plates, hospitality focus and inspired design, US Bank Tower delivers the ideal environment for high-performance organizations.”
“We are thrilled to relocate to the iconic US Bank Tower,” said Wilson Elser Regional Managing Partner, Ian Stewart. “The tower’s modern, light-filled workspace and best-in-class amenities will elevate how we collaborate and deliver for clients across Southern California, and perfectly aligns with our long-term growth strategy.”
US Bank Tower is home to many of the world’s leading financial firms, insurance companies, and law firms. Notable tenants include KPMG, McKinsey & Co, US Bank, Marsh & McLennan, Lincoln International, SOMPO International, and King & Spalding.
Soaring to 1,081 feet, US Bank Tower has defined the Los Angeles skyline since its completion in 1989. The tower boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and ceiling heights ranging from 13 to 18 feet, offering some of the best views in the city.
Silverstein Properties purchased US Bank Tower in 2020 and completed a wide-ranging capital improvement program to expand amenity offerings, redesign the arrival experience, and upgrade elevators. US Bank Tower’s lobby has been repositioned as a place to congregate and connect with an all-day café, meeting and work spaces, and a full-service cocktail bar.
The Vista, the amenity destination on the 54th floor, now features curated food and beverage options, lounge areas, a wellness room, event spaces, conferencing, and flexible workspaces. The tower’s dining options culminate at 71Above on the penthouse level, with breathtaking 360º views, a prestigious atmosphere, and vibrant modern American cuisine.
The tower also offers a state-of-the art fitness center, on-site parking and valet service, and EV charging stations. In addition, tenants enjoy access to Inspire, Silverstein Properties’ signature amenities network, which offers hospitality-focused programming across its nationwide portfolio.
Located in the heart of Downtown, US Bank Tower is in proximity to a wide range of transportation options and the 110 and 101 freeways. In 2025, Settecento, a new dining destination that combines high design, Italian culinary tradition and theatrical flair, opened in the historic Maguire Gardens, adjacent to the US Bank Tower and the Los Angeles Public Library.
Silverstein Properties was represented in-house by Harlan Strader, as well as Jaclyn Ward, James Malone, Marin Turney, Sarah Hancock of JLL. Wilson Elser was represented by Ryan Hoopes, Tom Sutherland and Luke Raimondo of Cushman & Wakefield.
