Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Just as the Nifty had managed to snap a three-day losing streak and move back towards 25,000, US President Donald Trump mentioned last night that the US-India trade deal has not been finalised and that there could be a tariff of up to 25% on the country, even as talks continue.

Starting tonight, a slew of macro and earnings data will dominate the US markets, including the FOMC rate decision, megacap tech results, and the Q2 GDP data. The Nifty did manage to close above 24,800 on Tuesday but continued to make lower highs and lower lows on the charts. Monday’s high of 24,889 and last Friday’s high of 25,010 continue to remain barriers for the index.

Today’s session will see earnings reactions from names like L&T and Bank of India, while PNB, Tata Steel, and IndiGo are some important names reporting results today. Additionally, what could also suck out some liquidity from the market will be six IPOs, which will be open for subscription simultaneously, including the ₹4,011 crore NSDL IPO.
