Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets have managed to recover from the lows of the day, however, the benchmark indices remain in red. The Nifty is down over 50 points and is aiming to reclaim the 24,000 mark. The Nifty Bank is down around 500 points, dropping to 56,600. Dr Reddy’s Nestle and Shriram Fin are the top laggards.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It’s the second half of the trading session and the markets have recovered from the lows of the day. The Nifty is down 50 points, falling to almost 24,000 points. The Sensex is down 200 points, taking the index to 76,500.
Brent is trading around $96 per barrel.
While the Nifty is still in the range, the Nifty Bank has broken below the 57,500 mark and now is looking to defend 57,000 on the downside. The index was down nearly 200 points led by IndusInd Bank. Concerns are also with regards to the broader market sell-off as the slightest earnings miss is being punished severely.
The top losers among the Nifty 500 stocks include, Cie Automotive, SRF, IndusInd Bank, Cemindia Projects, HFCL and Oracle Fin among others.
