Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets seem to be holding onto the gains, as indices look to push higher. The markets are looking to build on the momentum of the previous week, especially the last three sessions, as the Nifty aims for the 23,500 resistance mark. The Sensex is up over 550 points, nearing the 74,500 mark.

The Nifty will look to break the 6-week-long losing streak. It is the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 that the Nifty 50 closed lower for six weeks in a row. The index, although in recovery mode, continues to find resistance at higher levels.

Support for the Nifty is between 23,250 and 23,300 levels, followed by 23,100 on the downside, while crossing and sustaining above 23,400 would make 23,500 a realistic possibility.

Despite the worsening geopolitical situation in West Asia, oil markets have not reacted adversely to the same and Brent continues to remain around the $103-$104 a barrel mark.

The Nifty Bank is holding on to 56,000 and the bulls would hope that this continues towards the 57,000 mark on the upside as well, but for that, the 56,500 hurdle will have to be decisively crossed.

Block deals are back with one lined up in Lenskart today and today is also the final day to subscribe to the mega NSE IPO.
