Scottish property portal ESPC has launched a new mobile app designed to make property searches quicker and easier for buyers.
The app is available to buyers across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, the Borders and Dumfries & Galloway.
ESPC said the app gives users access to over 80% of new property listings up to 72 hours before they appear on national portals.
The portal said this would allow buyers to stay ahead of competition and potentially make an offer before a property reaches the wider market.
The app allows househunters to create instant property alerts tailored to their search criteria, with filters covering bedrooms, price range, energy efficiency status and whether a property is listed or in a conservation area.
Users can also view floorplans, videos, virtual tours and photography, as well as book viewings for properties that meet their criteria.
The app also allows users to view and download Home Reports and includes built-in mortgage calculators to help buyers understand their buying power before starting a search.
Paul Hilton, chief executive at ESPC, said: “Earlier this year, ESPC was named as the first property portal of choice for buyers and sellers across our core areas of Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and the Borders – so we know that our service holds real value to househunters and homeowners alike.
“We’re always striving to better our offering and provide even more for our customers and our member firms, and it felt like the perfect time to launch a brand-new app designed to make property searches faster and more efficient than ever.
“We know that many consumers expect a mobile-first experience and a seamless user journey, and our app’s careful design and clean, efficient interface, updated in real time, will meet their needs instantly. The national portals show buyers yesterday’s properties – ESPC brings you tomorrow’s.”
The ESPC app is available to download for free in the App Store and Play Store for Apple and Android users.
