The £1.2 billion global innovation district in Oxford is being developed to support science and technology growth.
Presented on September 10 at Keble College, the award was organised by UK Property Forums and celebrates the project’s contribution to the county’s Local Plan and its delivery of science, education and office space.
Simon Ruck, managing director of Oxford North Ventures, said: “This recognition means a great deal to the whole team.
“Winning this award reflects the scale of ambition behind Oxford North and the effort of everyone who has helped bring it to life.
“We set out to create a district that would be genuinely part of the city and it’s fantastic to see that approach recognised by our peers in Oxfordshire’s property industry.”
Oxford North was praised for its integration of laboratory and office space with public realm and community engagement.
The 64-acre site will eventually deliver up to one million square feet of lab and office space, 480 homes, a hotel, nursery and three public parks.
The award follows national recognition at the CoStar Impact Awards, where Oxford North was named most impactful commercial development.
The site is open to the public and features more than 30 co-working and breakout spaces, a café overlooking Fallaize Park, and a 100-seat auditorium.
So far in 2026, the auditorium has hosted around 20 events including training days and panel discussions.
