Freestone Property Investments (Pty) Ltd proposed to acquire an additional 14.73% stake in Octodec Investments Limited (JSE:OCT) for approximately ZAR 660 million on April 13, 2026. A cash consideration valued at ZAR 16.75 per share will be paid by Freestone Property Investments (Pty) Ltd. As part of consideration, an undisclosed value is paid towards common equity of Octodec Investments Limited. The Voluntary Offer will open on April 14, 2026 and will remain open until May 8, 2026. Upon completion, Freestone Property Investments (Pty) Ltd will own 34.90% stake in Octodec Investments Limited.
The transaction is subject to subject to court approval and approval by regulatory board / committee. The expected completion of the transaction is May 8, 2026.
